beach waves and sea salt spray.

13. Juni 2013

I have always worn my hair naturally as it is: straight down! It’s the easiest thing for me to only dry my hair after washing it (daily). Yes, that kind of “hair-do” (if you can call it so?) is boring as hell, but I don’t like to wear ponytails or buns, only at home or while washing and cleaning my face…

Some time ago I started to curl my hair with the flat-iron. You guys saw/see it quite often on the blog and Instagram. I really like my hair curly because it gives me some volume too, but using too much heat almost every day damaged my poor dry hair-ends and I had to cut some centimeters off. I should stop using the flat-iron – but what else there is to curl my hair? Some days ago I received a lovely and great surprise from some lovely PR Ladies. As if the could read my mind, there where some many much needed good hair-care products by Toni&Guy inside. Honestly, I don’t treat my hair very good: Shampoo + Argan Oil = That’s it! After spying the “Sea Salt Texturising Spray” inside the box I knew I had to give the so often seen “Beach Waves” a try. So I took my camera and the new hair-care products and worked on this very first (but not last) “hair-do post”! And t’s my second beauty post after this one…

Enjoy and feel free to try this at home 🙂

Step 1: Spray the “Sea Salt Spray” on your damp hair!
Step 2: Part your hair into two sections.
Step 3: Start twisting each of your hair sections (outwards)…
Step 4: Now it’s time to grab some bobby pins!
Step 5: Use the bobby pins to pin your twisted hair-ends on your head!
Step 6: If you don’t have too much time you can use your hair dryer!
Or you can go to bed like that and let your hair dry over night!
That is almost it…
Step 7: Remove the bobby pins, shake your hair and use some hairspray! Now you have some soft and super cute “Beach Waves”!
How do you like the result? It so easy, isn’t it?

Above you can also see the Toni&Guy products I have used. For some more volume I used a little bit of the “Sculpting Powder”. You can read and learn more about those products by clicking here! Next time I will show you how to curl your hair with a flat-iron and some more great hair products.. I am also thinking about doing a video?! What do you think?

It’s pretty awesome, I think I might fall for this product! I’m actually the other way around (wavy hair, but kind of crappy if I don’t style it), so this could be a good solution.
And don’t worry about not pampering you hair too much, shampoo + argan oil is more than enough, argan oil is the best!
I also use organic coconut oil, which is really good too.

Sieht toll aus! Werde ich auch mal ausprobieren! Bin gespannt, ob es bei meiner Haardicke und -länge funktioniert 😀

Liebe Grüße,
Eleonora
