louis vuitton: press day

Here comes a picture loaded post about “Louis Vuitton Prefall 2014″ and “Women’s Icônes Fall Winter 2014 collections”. I went to Munich yesterday to visit Louis Vuitton’s Showroom and German Headquarter. Take a closer look after the jump!

Louis Vuitton Women’s Prefall 2014 collection was pretty amazing, as you can tell by looking at the pictures. Timeless classics made out of the finest materials. The color palette contains deep and bold colors like wine-red, green, black and midnight blue. What I likes most where those overknee boots that on the first sight looked like pumps with socks, because two different types of leather where used: suede and shiny calfskin…

I also got to see a brand new bag design, which I am not able to show to you or talk about now. But my favorite bag in the showroom was definitely the neon-pink Capucines bag in a small version. To me all Capucines bags are prefection, because of their shape and their distinctive flap, which can be worn in two ways: inside to show the LV initials or outside to hide them and to only show a little monogram flower. On the pictures you can see the setting for the handbags, which looks like a giant chocolate box. How cool is that? Such a great idea, I really love it! Oh and then there was another room with bags and shoes only (first and last picture). It felt like being a princess in a dream dressing room and I would have loved to play dress up…

Louis Vuitton Women’s Icônes Fall Winter 2014 collection, the last one designed by Charlotte Perriand, was also very beautiful, rich in details and above all multifunctional. New Creative Director of the house, Nicolas Ghesquière will from now on also work on this collection too. There was stunning this dark blue reversible coat, perfect dark blue leather boots and sunglasses with a wooden frame. So elegant, and wearable.

Ich finde, dass die Kollektion vor allem Sehr tragbar aussieht , was ich persönlich nicht sofort mit Louis Vuitton verbinde.
